Teamwork

It is very important to recognize that these statistics do NOT measure a player's skill level or team contributions! There are a lot of factors that these statistics do not account, team work being the most significant unaccounted factor. A player's importance cannot be simplistically measured in points and deaths, but only in how they contribute to the team's goals and objectives. For example, it's rarely a question of how many you kill, but WHO you kill. Was the opponent a vulnerable easy-kill or a lethal sniper hidden on a distant hill? Did your teammate sacrifice his/her lives to accomplish an important team objective? Did your teammates help protect and defend you from enemies while you accumulated big points?

Statistics are intended for individual players to set goals for themselves and work towards those goals. It is to gauge personal accomplishments, but certainly not someone else's! These statistics are only relevant and meaningful to the individual who possess them.

WAR does not recognize "Most Valuable Player" (MVP) achievements for these reasons. We are a team. There are no lesser roles in matches, no achievement too small, no objective that can be accomplished without the assistance of your teammates. Our accomplishments could not be realized without the perseverance and hard work of each and every player in this squad.
